‘Our Lady of Muswell Primary School’ Experience Squash Thanks to the Middlesex DCA Project

Over the last 5 weeks DCA and county coach Guido Cannistraci has been delivering fun squash sessions at Our Lady of Muswell Primary School in North London.  With up 60 Year 5 students to learning the fundamental racket and squash skills and an opportunity to visit the local Stormont Squash Club to play on the courts and take part in an inter-school competition.

This project has been funded and supported by Sport England and Middlesex SRA as part of the Developing Coaching Academy (DCA), a project which is to recruit coaches and increase participation with juniors in schools and at grassroot levels.

Middlesex Junior Squash is rolling out this project to as many schools a possible across the county, and welcomes contact with any primary school who would like to introduce squash their pupils.
